Summer Courses

The department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures typically offers four language courses during the summer:

  • Beginning Romanian (6-weeks)
  • Beginning Serbian/Croatian (6-weeks)
  • Beginning Russian (8-weeks)
  • Intermediate Russian (8-weeks)
ROMANIAN

Romanian 103: Beginning Romanian
Instructor: Georgiana Galateanu

Lecture, 25 hours. Intensive basic course in Romanian equivalent to courses 101A, 101B, 101C. P/NP or letter grading.

RUSSIAN

Russian 10: Structure of Modern Russian
Instructor: Anna Kudyma

Lecture, 19 hours. Intensive basic course in Russian language equivalent to courses 1, 2, 3. P/NP or letter grading.

Russian 20: History of Russian Culture
Instructor: Anna Kudyma

Lecture, 19 hours. Intermediate instruction in reading, writing, and speaking Russian equivalent to courses 4, 5, 6. P/NP or letter grading.

SERBIAN/CROATIAN

Serb Cro 103: Beginning Serbian/Croatian
