2026 Russian Placement Exam

The Russian Placement Exam is only given once a year. The 2026 Online Russian placement exam will be given on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 10 am to 2 pm. If you have a problem taking the exam on this day, please contact Professor Anna Kudyma at akudyma@ucla.edu.

The exam takes 100 minutes to complete and consists of the following sections: grammar, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, speaking, and writing.

This exam is for UCLA students only. Registration for the Online Russian Placement Exam will be closed on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10am.
